Visualize well log charts
Well logs are gathered from geologic formations penetrated by a borehole but can be used to visualize any other type of data of this nature. The Spotfire® Well Log Chart Mod allows you to easily visualize this well log data so you can better understand the elements present in your well such as hydrocarbons, sand, gamma rays, water saturation, and much more. You can view multiple well logs together, highlight specific zones, and drill deep into geologic insights.
You can visualize, analyze, and interpret well log data to empower your team to find actionable insights and drive informed decision-making processes in exploration. Here are some use cases for well-specific visualizations:

Insights into your wellbore activity
The Spotfire® Wellbore Mod is a schematic representation of a wellbore in 2D, plotting True Vertical Depth (TVD) versus Measured Depth (MD). With this new Mod, you can visualize fluid penetration into a wellbore during completion activities, relative positions of plugs and perforations, and plot colored values at various measured depths.

Measure your well spacing
The Spotfire® Well Spacing (“Gun Barrel”) Diagram Mod is used to visualize the spacing of horizontal wells across a lateral section in relation to relevant formations. It provides measurements between wells to help in planning drilling and completions activities.
This Mod is used to display wells in what is known as a “gun barrel” view, because of how the wells are displayed. It represents a vertical section through the well, the same as if you were looking down a gun barrel.
