TIBCO Spotfire Improves the Selection and Optimization of Compound Structures
Chemists are asked to evaluate an ever-increasing amount of data derived from screening, ADME, and chemistry research efforts focusing on compound series. In order to make the best decisions about which compound to synthesize next, they need to take full advantage of the information that becomes available to them. Spotfire can easily accommodate new information and allow chemists to spot trends in complex datasets through the use of multiple linking visualizations and chemical structure viewing. These chemical structures and properties can be accessed through industry standard chemistry data sources (chemistry cartridges). Within this environment, chemists can easily share this information and the logic behind their decisions with peers, managers and other domain experts in order to optimize the next steps in drug development.
